Positions available

 

Practice Manager

Practice Manager is an entrepreneurial role, one that involves assuming leadership for a particular component of our existing business or for building a new practice area. The Practice Manager will be an expert in their field and is responsible for client management for the entire practice.

 

  • Hires and mentors the Talent Agents and Scouts within the practice.
  • Coordinates roles and responsibilities within the practice.
  • Contributes to the overall vision of the practice and ultimately, the TalentLab brand.
  • Responsible for all elements of the practice, including helping with business planning and revenue forecasting.

 

Account Manager

One of the things that distinguishes TalentLab is the strength of our client relationships. We get to know our clients and are genuinely interested in seeing them succeed. In return they place a high value on our services and turn to us as a preferred vendor when they need help. In joining TalentLab as an Account Manager you will be expected to exemplify our high standards of ethics and professionalism. If you are passionate about your work and relentlessly focussed on building client revenues then we want to speak with you.

 

  • Performs market research to identify likely client partners.
  • Establishes new private sector client relationships, including negotiating service agreements for retained or contingency-based search at senior and exective levels. Active client regions span all of North America, with an emphasis on Ottawa, ON and San Fransisco Bay, CA.
  • Manages ongoing client relationships, including constantly assessing support requriements, co-ordinating the submital and interview of candidates and helping to close employment offers.
  • Works closely with internal teams to assess candidates and improve the effectiveness of our recruiting efforts.
  • A proven sales background combined with experience in high value recruiting and/or human resource services is highly desired.

 

Talent Agent

Talent Agents are much more than just recruiters. They are responsible for finding the best technology candidates and guiding them on their career path. Talent Agents network with, call, screen and assign candidates. Responsibilities include counseling and representing candidates and negotiating on their behalf with our clients. In the course of their work each Talent Agent will perform market research, develop search strategies, rely on proprietary market intelligence, and tap into the benefits of modern search and database tools. Also, every Talent Agent has the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with the best technology clients within our niches - we believe that we deliver a better solution when everyone understands what the client needs are. Talent Agents represent TalentLab and deliver top notch service to all of our clientele. Qualifications include:

 

  • 2-6 years experience in technical recruiting or sales.
  • University degree or college diploma.
  • Excellent attitude, work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Intelligence, curiosity, creativity and an incredible amount of energy.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Experience with client presentations.
  • Eagerness to pick up the phone and offer someone an exciting new career.
